Broad Brook Grange presents its annual Community Harvest/Pre-Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner this Saturday, November 16, at 5 pm, at the Grange Hall in Guilford Center. The Grange will provide roast turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy (we figure these things are too important to trust to potluck!) Three people are already signed up to bring stuffing, 1 for a dessert, & a cran-orange sauce, but you’re welcome to bring more, or whatever potluck item you’d like to contribute: vegetable dishes, sweet potatoes, yams, &c, cranberry sauce, rolls or bread, cider or other non-alcoholic beverages, and of course PIES and other desserts, whatever you wish. Marli will be roasting the turkeys at the Grange most of the day, so stop by earlier if you like, to help or chat. Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Guilford Cares will hold its monthly board meeting on Wednesday, November 13 at 6:00 pm at the Guilford Town Offices. Our meetings are open to all Guilford residents. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. They start promptly and usually last 1 hour.
