Mother’s Day Brunch at Broad Brook Grange

Broad Brook Grange will present its 17th annual Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 12, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Grange hall in Guilford Center.  The proceeds from the event will allow for continued renovations of the historic building.

The all-you-can-eat brunch features eggs and omelets, any style, made to order.  Also on the menu are  pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon and home fries, with Guilford maple syrup.  Other treats include home-baked coffee cakes and other baked goods, fresh fruit salad, and bread for toasting.  A selection of juices  will be available, along with coffee, teas and milk.

No reservations are necessary for the meal, which is priced at $10 for adults; $8 for seniors, and $5 for ages 2-12. Kids under two are free.

This event is the second brunch of 2013, and will be followed by similar events on Father’s Day and during foliage season.  Broad Brook Grange is at 3940 Guilford Center Road, 4 miles west of the Guilford Country Store.  For more information, call (802) 257-1961.

Guilford Free Library will be selling the last of their raffle tickets during the brunch & holding the drawing in late morning.

Brunch at the Grange this Sunday

Guilford’s first brunch of the year will be Sunday, April 14, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Broad Brook Grange Hall in Guilford Center. The Guilford School’s 8th grade class will be your hosts as we usher in the sounds, smells and joys of spring!

We welcome you to the all-you-can-eat brunch featuring eggs and omelets,  made to order, with an abundance of mix-in possiblities.  Also on the menu are  pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon, ham and home fries, with Guilford maple syrup.  Other treats include home-baked  muffins,  coffee cakes, pies, fresh fruit salad, and bread for toasting.  A selection of juices  will be available, along with gourmet coffee, teas and milk. This event launches the 17th year of Grange brunches, and is an extra added fundraiser this year to support the Guilford 8th grade class trip to Nova Scotia. This will be the last 8th grade class in the school’s fine history.
